Hunting Bears are a five-piece Leeds-based band unlike any I have heard in a while.
Their instantly recognisable sound stems from their diversity within the band. They have carved their sound through everything from “west coast melody to neo-soul rhythm; baroque strings to gospel harmony; Joni to Erykah” and trust me when I say it is instantly recognisable.
Hunting Bears have played: Green Man, Beatherder and High & Lonesome Festivals; opened The Brudenell Social Club stage at Live at Leeds; and across the country in renowned venues such as Square Chapel Halifax and Seven Arts Leeds. In recent years, they have played in support of Lanterns on the Lake, Paul Thomas Saunders and The Head And The Heart.
Really making waves throughout the musicsphere, Hunting Bears are currently mixing their new (and third) EP and have released Sweet Anthony as their first single from it.

I would love to know if you think they are as good as I do!
